Sunday Morning Groups

SUNDAY MORNING GROUPS function as an accessible pathway for Intentional Relational Discipleship, as evidenced by authentic connection, spiritual growth, and heart transformation that facilitates the achievement of our mission to make, to mature, and to multiply fully-committed followers of Jesus Christ on Sunday morning and beyond.

These communities meet on Sunday mornings opposite the worship services both at 9 am and 10:45 am. Some communities focus on a topical study such as finance, parenting, or leadership training, while other communities have a focus on interactive Bible study and prayer. To find your fit, contact groups@efree.org or call 636.779.2130. To view the Adult Communities Charter, click here.

Groups at First Free provide a place to belong. Some groups meet on Sunday morning in our church building, others meet in homes during the week, some focus on specific life issues, and others are designed for men or women. Regardless of the group you choose, you will find a place to grow in your faith, find meaningful service, and build caring friendships.

Current Study – Reimagining the Way You Relate to God
God is so amazing and His character is perfect. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that: “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” How do you view God? In the fall of 2019, Homebuilders will take a closer look at our understanding of the Lord and how we can better relate to Him. The study will be based on Skye Jethani’s book With: Reimagining the Way You Relate to God. Each week will be a separate topic and no advance preparation is needed, so please join us at any time.
