"Gloria Deo" translates from Latin to English as "Glory to God". The "Gloria Deo" choir will be focused in bringing glory to God through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. The repertoire of the choir will include works from the earliest Masters to contemporary composers, Bach Motets to hymn arrangements. It will include selections with four to eight part harmonies, a cappella pieces and may include works in foreign languages. Members must be able to read music and have had choral experience or vocal training, be willing to make a consistent commitment to rehearsals and the ability to meet scheduled performance dates.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:16,17)
