Communications

  • e-Newsletters - We’re looking for a few people to help us put content into pre-designed e-newsletter templates on a monthly basis. Simple web editing is involved. Experience with basic html editing is a plus.

Guest Connection

  • Traffic Team - Makes people feel welcomed even before they get out of their cars and ensure safety and provide directions in the parking lot.
  • Greeters - Greeters are passionate about extending genuine hospitality to every person that walks through our doors. Greeters want people to know “we’ve been expecting you!” 
  • Ushers - This team is vital to ensuring a smooth flow to the worship service, being alert to assist wherever needed before, during and after each service.
  • Auditorium Hosts - The Auditorium Hosts are serious about building relationships. They meet and find out if people need help connecting with First Free beyond the Sunday services.
  • Guest Center - The Guest Center team provides a dedicated and comfortable place for guests to engage in friendly conversation and ask any questions they may have.

Kid Connection

  • Elementary - Two adult teachers needed for 1st Grade during second hour. 
  • KC Friend - KC Ministry is for children with special needs. A KC Friend (adult or mature teen) shadows a child with special needs on a one-on-one basis to assist the child and allow him/her to participate and learn with their class. Training provided.

Ministry Support

  • Substitute Receptionist - A cheerful and friendly personality is needed to occasionally sub at the Main Office front desk. Training provided for a multi-phone line and to greet walk-in guests. Some previous customer service experience helpful, and the gift of Serving.
  • Mailing Helper - Needed on occasion to help prepare bulk mailings to the congregation. Envelopes will be stuffed and labeled with a team of people.

Worship

  • Sunday Auditorium - The Sunday worship team is threefold: vocal, instrumental and technical (lights, sound, media projection). Vocalists are choir members who desire an extra step of responsibility. The team rehearses Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. during the summer and at 7:30 p.m. during the school year.
  • Choir - The choir assists in leading worship about every three weeks during the school year (mid-Sept. through early-May) and practices weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Worship choir is open to high school freshmen and older.
  • Drama - Though the Dessert Theatre is the main drama production, we’re assembling a group of actors to perform on a more regular basis.
