First Free Church is committed to helping send and support qualified workers into full time missionary service. We have three categories of support relationships with missionaries. The criteria for these categories guide us to determine with whom we will enter into an active sending and support relationship. This 'sending relationship' will include prayer and care support and, in most cases, financial support.
Foundational to all three categories is qualification of the interested individual or couple for missionary service as evidenced by growing maturity in such areas as ministry, spiritual and personal formation.
Three Categories for First Free Missionaries
- First Free Missionary - Has been actively involved in the life and ministry of First Free Church for two recent years.
- Strategic Partners – Preparing to serve, or is already actively serving in a First Free Strategic Focus area. Currently there are four focus areas: T-stan, Germany, Brooklyn, NY and St. Louis, MO.
- Associate First Free Missionaries
a) Was active in Youth and/or College Ministries of First Free within the past four years
OR
b) Has a church home at a St. Louis, Missouri, Evangelical Free Church and is serving with the Evangelical Free Church International Mission.
