From Here to There… Steps toward being Sent as a Missionary
by First Evangelical Free Church, St. Louis
The process for anyone seeking to be SENT as a First Free missionary:
- Association - Building of relationship between interested individual or couple and Global Outreach Team. Individual given “Missions Interested” sheet.
- a) Application - to become a First Free Missionary Candidate.
b) Acceptance - as a First Free Missionary Candidate (if accepted, the candidate then comes under the umbrella of the GO Team’s leadership and guidance which may include further equipping and preparation for ministry).
- Approval - as a First Free Missionary (the confirmation and blessing upon the candidate, by the GO Team, as someone to be sent into ministry as an extension of First Free).
Developing Candidates to be Approved First Free Missionaries
Candidates will be assessed and guided towards growth in these areas:
- Formation: Spiritual, Personal, Ministry
- Logistical Preparation
- First Free connection: having a strong relationship base
