Reaching the world with the gospel is an enormous task, yet we are commanded by God to ‘go and make disciples of all nations’! Therefore, First Free is developing partnership relationships with missionaries, churches and organizations in specific ministry fields to which we feel called by God to strategically focus our efforts. The goal of these partnerships is to plant and develop healthy, reproducing churches that effectively reach a target area or people. Rather than a one-time ministry “experience", we are able to get to know and love our partners, work on mutually held goals with the Holy Spirit’s leading and have continuity of ministry - thus increasing both short and long-term effectiveness.

West St. Louis County
First Free is active in our West County community, in addition to partnering with missionaries from First Free who are working with Child Evangelism Fellowship, Young Life, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Crusade, Pregnancy Resource Centers and the Center for Bioethics. North St. Louis City
First Free has worked in two urban neighborhoods for many years, partnering with Jubilee Community Church and Sunshine Ministries. Volunteers from First Free work with these ministries to reach children, youth and adults with the gospel while seeking racial reconciliation and community development.
Germany
First Free has been exploring and developing partnerships with the Free Church of Germany (FeG) and the Evangelical Free Church of America—Reach Global in Central Europe since 2001. The goal of these relationships is to "glorify God by serving the FeG through the establishing of healthy churches in Eastern Germany".
T-stan
Since 1994, First Free has partnered with the EFCA-IM to plant churches, send workers, equip leaders and reach the T-stan people. First Free now serves as an Advocate Church, coordinating efforts of five other American Free Churches with two churches, multiple American and international workers and two Bible schools in or near T-stan.
Brooklyn, New York
The tragedy of 9-11-2001 introduced our congregation to the needs born of that event and the long-term needs of multi-ethnic Brooklyn. Since 2001, we have worked with First and Second Evangelical Free Churches of Brooklyn to reach this vastly diverse area of New York City.
Focus Ages
First Free highly values the development and contributions of youth and college-aged adults in the area of outreach. To that end, the Global Outreach Team seeks to be a resource to the Youth and College ministries of First Free each year in the equipping, funding and sending of short-term mission teams. Over the years, these two age groups have learned from and served well on teams and projects in Mexico, Haiti, North St. Louis and Baltimore. In addition to teams designed for Youth and College ages, many youth and college-aged adults serve on age integrated short-term teams to our Focus Areas.
