Kids Worship groups meet each Sunday morning at the 10:45 hour from early September through the first week in June.

Believing that kids learn best when they actively participate, our goal is to help children connect to both the heart and Word of God by involving children in weekly worship that engages, trains and equips them for the act of worship and ministry in the body of Christ. We hope to lead the children in worship whereby they meet God on a personal level as they praise Him for being a holy, awesome God.

We want to teach the children God’s plan for the Church. We want to help the children discover their spiritual gifts and their talents as they relate to service in the body. We want to enable the children to use these gifts and talents in service and in worship to God both in the body and outside the church. We want to draw the children into worship of the only One who is worthy of our affection and praise. Sometimes we do it in fun, loud ways and sometimes by candlelight.

The children are divided into age level “teams”. Each team which is led by a shepherd spends four weeks in a Learning Center. There are eight Kids Worship Centers in the course of a school year, each team and their shepherd rotate through all the centers. Center leaders provide the teaching guidance and life application for the children. The Centers are led by men and women who are gifted and passionate about that particular area of ministry. The Eight Centers are: Prayer, Faith Basics Investigations (doctrine), Worship Live, KW Players (Drama), Faithful Followers (sharing faith stories), Ambassadors (missions), Deacons (hands on service), and Worship Life. During the last 35 minutes of each morning, all the children come together for an actual worship service.
