SUMMIT
In our high school ministry we consider our lives a journey with each of us trying to reach the mountain summit. We prepare for each leg of our journey at base camp, then continue the climb together towards the summit. Join us any Sunday morning or evening – because no one should have to climb alone.
Sunday Mornings, BASE CAMP (9:00-10:15 a.m., Rooms 300-304) Base Camp is our weekly “equipping” program that has a goal of helping High Schoolers grow in their trek with Jesus Christ. We offer four classes for students to choose from that include topical and verse-by-verse Bible studies. Each class lasts eight weeks.
Sunday Evenings, SUMMIT (6:00-9:00 p.m., Activity Center) Summit is our weekly program with the purpose of helping high school teens understand what it means to be a Christ-follower, and with a second purpose of helping them experience Godly relationships through small groups. We begin with dinner for $2 and move to a large group experience with an amazing band leading us in worship; next, there’s a biblically-based message geared for the challenges of high schoolers; and then we break into Expedition Teams (small groups) for a time of accountability, fellowship and prayer.
