Why would I want to create an EFREE login?

First Free is committed to making our information and communication tools easier to use and more accessible to our congregation. With an EFREE login, you have access to current information 24/7.

  • Look up a friend’s new address or phone number by viewing an updated, church-wide directory
  • View the groups and activities in which you are currently involved
  • Contact and email individuals or groups currently engaged in ministry with you
  • Submit changes for you and family members (i.e. address, phone, email)
  • Print mailing labels for the groups/ministries to which you belong
  • Securely view your own current contribution records

How safe is my information?

Keeping records which include personal and financial information is an important responsibility. The information is kept in a secure site using state-of-the-art encryption technology, firewalls and intrusion detection. Users must pass through a security check which matches information contained in First Free’s database. Users are able to manage the information available on the web by personal preference settings within their EFREE login.

Who can create an EFREE login?

Any individual who is a regular part of First Free’s congregation can create an EFREE login. Please note you must already be listed in First Free’s database with a current email address in order to create a username and login.

What if I attend First Free but am not in the database yet?

Please fully complete and submit the Personal Data Update Form. Your information will be entered within 5 business days, after which time you can create an EFREE login.

Problem Solving

The system said it could not find my information in the database and would not issue me a username and password. What now?

The system is attempting to match the information you submitted when registering with the information found in the First Free database. Try again using the following tips:

  1. Be sure you are entering your name exactly as it appears in First Free’s database. You may need to try your formal first name or you may need to try your shortened first name (i.e. James or Jim)
  2. Be sure you are using the email address which is listed in First Free’s database
  3. First Free’s database information may not be current for you. Please fully complete and submit the Personal Data Update Form (one per family). Your information will be entered within five business days, after which time you can create an EFREE login.

What if I don’t receive a username and password after I have registered?

  1. Be sure you are checking the correct email address. The system will send the username and login to the email address listed in First Free’s database.
  2. Next, check your junk email box to make sure it is not there. Look for an email from efreelogin@efree.org. Some email filter settings send emails from unknown users directly to a junk box.
  3. Email efreelogin@efree.org for help if none of this seems to work. A First Free staff member will get back with you as soon as possible.

I received my username and password, but they don’t work.

  1. The username and password are case sensitive – you must enter them exactly as they appear in the email notification, using the same capital letters and spacing.
  2. The password often has symbols and punctuation marks which must be included. Sometimes the lower case “L” and the number one (1) are difficult to distinguish. (You will be prompted to change your password to something you can easily remember when you login for the first time.)

I forgot my password.

Click the “My EFREE Login” button from First Free’s web page www.efree.org and enter your username. Click the “Forgot my password” link and your password will be emailed to you immediately.
