Step 1:  Schedule the Wedding
Contact the Wedding Secretary at the church office (636.227.0125) to communicate your potential wedding date. Upon confirmation of the date from Facilities Management, contact the pastor of your choice for his availability to officiate. Tentative wedding dates can be arranged up to twelve months in advance and will be finalized after you have met with the officiating pastor. First Free is unavailable during the weekends of Easter, as well as from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

Step 2:  Meet with Officiating Pastor
During your first meeting with your officiating pastor, you will want to address any questions you may have about marriage and the premarital preparation process at First Free. You will sign the Preparing for Marriage Covenant of Understanding and discuss several items including your counseling and the Preparing for Marriage Seminar.

Step 3:  Attend the Premarital Seminar
Through video, lectures and dynamic discussion, the Preparing for Marriage Seminar will help you build a Biblical and practical foundation for a lifelong marriage. Topics will include: Developing Intimacy, Celebrating Differences, Finances and Communication.

The Preparing for Marriage Seminar costs $70.00 per couple, which covers the cost of books and handouts. To register, call the Wedding Secretary at the church office, 636.227.0125.

Step 4:  Meet With the Wedding Coordinator
Finally, you will be contacted by the First Free Wedding Coordinator who will help you finalize the details for your rehearsal and wedding at our facility. If you have not been contacted within three months before your wedding date, please call the church office.
